On November 30th, 2022, the Exchange Camp of 2022 “Green Lifestyle for Children in Lancang-Mekong Countries” Program sponsored by the All-China Women's Federation and undertaken by the China National Children's Center was successfully held in Nanning. Wei Yu, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Liang Chunhua, Vice Chairman of the Women’s Federation of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Yu Dongyun, Member of the Party Committee of China National Children's Center and Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Center, Vonexay Lamanyphone, Vice Consul, Lao People's Democratic Republic Consulate General in Nanning, Wasin Dhamavasi, Deputy consul-General of the Consulate General of Thailand in Nanning attended the event. More than 200 teachers and students respectively from 9 partner schools in China’s 5 cities including Nanning, Beijing, Xi'an, Shenzhen and Kunming, as well as Thailand and Laos, participated in the 4-day exchange camp in an online and offline combined manner.
With connected mountains and rivers and strong cultural ties, the six Lancang-Mekong countries are natural partners of cooperation. Not long ago, General Secretary Xi Jinping just completed his visit to Thailand. Recently, Lao President Thongloun paid a state visit to China at invitation. Head-of-state diplomacy has played an important leading role in Lancang-Mekong cooperation and provided a fundamental basis for our efforts to carry out youth and children exchanges in Lancang-Mekong countries. At the opening ceremony of the camp, Yu Dongyun stated that young people are the future and hope of the world. Today, representatives of teachers and students from China, Laos and Thailand meet in Nanning in an online and offline combined manner to join the date of Lancang-Mekong countries. Under the theme of "sustainable environmental development", all participants exchanged learning achievements and shared growth and gains. I believe that the seeds of "Lancang-Mekong Integration" will surely be planted and sprout in the hearts of the children!

At the camp, the leaders and guests awarded certificates to the teachers and students, they also jointly visited the special exhibition of children's visual art works themed on "diversified lives and colorful time ".
